The world's legendary linen maker has been family owned and operated for more than a century. It began in 1896, when Remigio Pratesi sold his linens from the beautiful Tuscan countryside directly to the royal families of that time. Today, the company is run by the fourth generation of the Pratesi family.

Pratesi strives to seek a perfect balance of fifty percent hand work and fifty percent machine. Even when machines are used, they are guided by hand becasue Pratesi products require a human touch.
